In the summer, we find it is best to visit the sights on weekdays to minimize the crowds. This Thursday we went up to Desvres in order to see a museum that Kathy has been interested in. Its hours in the winter are limited to the afternoon, so this was a great day to go. The town has a history of commercial cermaics production and this is reflected in the museum and the town itself. I escpecially enjoy the Pelforth pelicans which are still used by the brewery for promotion today. Check out the building pictures - the building exterior is a nice as the inside. Museum of Ceramics
